Web Technologies geofencing feature is also used extensively in cargo transport services to view vehicle and goods status. In case of any unauthorized use of the vehicle or non- timely goods dispatch, the geo-fence tracker will instantly send a SMS notification to the concerned people.
If operated out of geo-fence location or time the vehicle goes into a state of high alert and relays its location and other events to both the live system and any nominated contacts via email or text. It also clearly displays the exact route being taken by the vehicle as well as the vehicle's current location, direction of travel, and current speed using the very latest mapping technology. The system also creates a log of the violation of the specified geo-fenced area with details of the violating vehicle, time and location of the violation for future extraction and review.
